PRIVATE PARTY RATES

 

General Painting Fees:

Chelas charges $60 per hour for a basic face painting event. It is a one hour minimum for all local events and a two hour minimum for any event that is located within a 30 miles radius outside of Lancaster, PA. It is a three hour minimum if Chelas needs to travel more than one hour outside of Lancaster, PA. Call or e-mail to confirm your hourly rate. Chelas can paint 6 to 15 children per hour depending on the details and size of the designs chosen. Be sure to book your time accordingly to avoid leaving anyone out. Please do not ask Chelas to disappoint any guests due to lack of time booked. If you do end up exceeding the time booked, and if Chelas is available to stay longer (sometimes she is booked for several events in one day and will be unable to extend her time), additional charges will be applied in half hour increments. The Client will pay for the time booked plus overrun, even if the Client has delayed the time that Chelas starts the actual painting.

All charges are due on the day of the event. The client must pay for a minimum of 1 hour even if the client uses Chelas for less than 1 hour. Completed contract and deposit must be submitted at least 14 calendar days prior to the event or the Client runs the risk of losing that date. Chelas accepts online payment through PayPal. Chelas accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover and cash on location. Chelas does not accept checks. There is a $30 fee for any returned checks or charges. Chelas requires a $25 deposit in advance to secure your date.

 

Travel Fees:

Travel fees apply when Chelas needs to travel more than 30 miles outside of Lancaster, PA. $1 per mile.

Any parking fees must be paid by the client.

 

COMMERCIAL, NON-PROFITS, EVENTS, AND FESTIVALS

 

Commercial Events:

The various needs of commercial events are often unique. Contact Chelas to discuss prices involving your upcoming event/festival/fundraiser. Due to the amount of attendees, Chelas may need to hire additional painters or add on additional services (such as temporary tattooos) in order to accomodate your guests. Chelas, solo, can only paint up to 20 guests in an hour, but with a team, her company can easily entertain over 200 guests each hour of your event. Chelas adds an additional quality of entertainment to your event and is not to be considered your traditional vendor. The art and service that she offers is entertainment to your guests. Chelas does not pay vending or booth fees, please do not solicit her as such.

 

Non-Profit Events:

If your event is non-profit based or a fundriser for a charity, Chelas offers a variety of options regarding fees that can be mutually beneficial to both parties. Contact Chelas for more information regarding special rates.
