PRIVATE BODY PAINTING RATES
General Painting Fees:
Chelas charges $60 per hour for body painting photo shoots. This includes body painting and photography shoot. Most body painting photo shoots are between three and four hours. Time will vary according to the detail in the artwork and the amount of skin covered. For this rate the client will receive a complete disk of unedited photos and Chelas will also edit three photos and deliver them as high resolution images via a private link throuch the client login on Zenfolio. All private photo shoots are handled with the utmost respect for privacy. All photography is shot and edited by Chelas Montanye and Mr. Nobody Special. Chelas does not use outside photographers unless contracted by said photographers.
All charges are due on the day of the painting. Completed contract and deposit must be submitted at least 14 calendar days prior to the session or the Client runs the risk of losing that date. Chelas accepts online payment through PayPal. Chelas accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover and Cash on location. Chelas does not accept checks. There is a $30 fee for any returned checks or charges. Chelas requires a $25 deposit in advance to secure your date.
Other details:
Subject matter may be chosen by the client or at their desire left to Chelas' overactive imagination. Chelas maintains the highest level of discretion in all her art and the clients choice of coverage is always up to them. Nudity is not a requirement, neither is age nor body size. Chelas paints everyone of every size, age, race, and ethnicity that wants to be painted. Clients are welcome to bring one friend chaperone or hired muscle to the photo shoot. Additional people are welcome for an additional $10 distraction fee per person (make it a party!).
Travel Fees:
If you want Chelas to paint you at your home or on location elsewhere than her studio, Chelas can do that! Travel fees apply when Chelas needs to travel outside of her studio in Lancaster, PA. $2 per mile plus $60 set up fee, in addition to her hourly rates. Any parking fees must be paid by the client. Chelas does not travel for portfolio trades, TF's or unpaid tests.
ADULT BODY PAINTING PARTY RATES
General Face Painting Fees without Photography:
These rates are for events where Chelas travels to a party or adult event and paints the guests of the event with simple designs on their arm, face, foot or leg, back or breasts. Chelas charges $60 per hour for Adult Body Painting Events. This rate does not include photography. It is a two hour minimum for all local events and a three hour minimum for any event that is located within a 30 miles radius outside of Lancaster, PA. It is a three hour minimum if Chelas needs to travel more than one hour outside of Lancaster, PA. Call or e-mail to confirm your hourly rate. Chelas can paint 6 to 15 people per hour depending on the details and size of the designs chosen. Be sure to book your time accordingly to avoid leaving anyone out. Please do not ask Chelas to disappoint any guests due to lack of time booked. If you do end up exceeding the time booked, and if Chelas is available to stay longer (sometimes she is booked for several events in one day and will be unable to extend her time), additional charges will be applied in half hour increments. The Client will pay for the time booked plus overrun, even if the Client has delayed the time that Chelas starts the actual painting.

Adult Body Painting Party Fees with Photography:
These rates are for events where Chelas travels to a party or adult event and paints the guests of the event with full frontal or full back paintings and photographs them afterwards. Chelas charges $50 per person for Adult Body Painting Events. These sort of events require time, expect a minimum of 30 minutes per person for a painting and 15 minutes for photography. There is a minimum requirement of four guests being painted for such an event to be booked. Four guests would require a total of three to four hours of time for painting and photography. Chelas, solo, can paint a maximum of 15 guests in 8 hours, full back or full frontal. For larger parties, Chelas hires additional painters. Call or e-mail to confirm your date, check availability, and make arrangements for additional body painters. If you are serving a lot of guests and require the services of more than one body painter it is important that you schedule early.
All guests must be pre-registered to be painted on the day of the event. No additional guests will be added on to the painting list after Chelas begins painting. All fees are to be paid in advance.

Are you a model looking to enhance your portfolio?
Chelas offers special rates for models looking to enhance their portfolios. Chelas charges a one time kit fee of $60 for any body painting photoshoot with shared rights. Chelas will provide the model with a disc of all unedited pictures as well as any edited pictures that she decides to edit. Both Chelas and the model retain full copyright of all the pictures for this arrangement (read modeling contract). Neither party can sell the copyright to any other party.
